We launched the first groups of Every Man a Warror a year ago with the goal of fostering greater discipleship, growth in faith, and closeness to God among our men. We want to help our men grow into godly leaders within their own families and in various areas of our church.

The program’s diversity—including daily Bible study, prayer, and memorizing Bible verses—presented a significant challenge for all the brothers, and that is precisely where the program’s value lay. From the very beginning, expectations for ourselves and for the brothers in the group were high—we wanted change, and that requires work.

It was wonderful to see how all the men rose to the challenge and how their daily encounter with God and the weekly group meetings brought about a transformation. The program provides the perfect framework for putting on the armor of God every day and being ready for whatever the enemy throws at us.

We have now launched groups four and five; some from the first round are now leading their own groups, and we look forward to the great things the Lord is doing in our men.
